I love finding "behind the scene" peeks on how images get created; so I thought I'd share some of our process from the Jaxie Spring 2011 shoot yesterday. Per usual we had a blast! Our model's Anita, Alexia and Tony were flawless, Jackie's designs are out of this world (Once you put a Jaxie on, your head will thank you!) and of course Rachel Lee was AMAZING!! A special thanks to GLOW salon on 756n Jackson St, Milwaukee Wi for their incredible space, Miss Ruby boutique for the stunning dresses and Welkes House of Roses for the breathtaking crystal tree (brides must check them out, we literally Rachel Zoe died from the gorgeousness) ! Images are not retouched...Tony and Anita are just that beautiful.

Ashley & Tony; Work of ART Engagement Session

Ashley and Tony are wonderful! Their personalities are magnetic and you simply enjoy being around them. They are so considerate of each other and those who surround them; to call them nice would be an understatement! It was fun to watch them during the shoot, they are so playful and affectionate. It seemed, the longer they were around each other the happier they became. I want to say a special thanks to the owners of MOCT for letting us shoot at their beautiful location (it's where Ashley and Tony met)! I hope you enjoy looking at these gorgeous lovebirds!!

Mallory & Nick: Wedding Day 11-06-2010

We were so honored to be able to capture Mallory and Nick's incredible day! It was so beautiful, from the amazing venue (the Humphrey Masonic Center) to every detail which was flawlessly selected. Their day was filled with love, excitement and wonderful festivities. As they gave their vows in the gorgeous vintage theater, their guests surrounded them and cheered through out the ceremony. They enjoyed a stunning party into the evening filled with food, enough cupcakes to feed a small army and lots of dancing! As we continued to capture their incredible day, we over heard many guest say that "this was the best Wedding they have ever been to!". Mallory and Nick certainly know how to celebrate! Congratulations Mallory and Nick!!!

Danielle & Paul; Autumn Engagement

I'm so excited to share this session with you because Danielle is a dear friend of mine! She is so special, beautiful, funny, bright, creative and loyal. I was pleased to find out her fiance Paul is a PERFECT match for her. Throughout their session, I was impressed by their loving communication; they are both so well spoken and share a mutual respect for one another. You would never guess Danielle was recovering from strep throat during their shoot; seriously who looks that beautiful when they are sick?! Alison & Ben; SWEET E-Session

Alison and Ben are incredible! They are one of those couples you just really enjoy being around. They both have a great sense of humor and had me laughing the whole shoot. They both are sooo photogenic which made my job easy!! They were such good sports chewing loads of Bubble gum for what probably seemed like hours to get those beautiful bubbles; I'm so glad they did because their pictures turned out super cute! Hope you enjoy!!!

Mallory & Nick: Fall Engagement Session

Mallory and Nick are such a wonderful pair! They both have an effortless ease about them. They exude a comfort and warmth which makes them incredibly easy to talk to. During their E-session I was mesmerized by Mallory's incredible eyes, aren't they gorgeous!!! They will be getting married next month, and I can't wait!! It certainly will be a amazing time!! Stefanie & Shawn: Beach Chic Engagment session

We had quite the adventure during their E-session; we were solicited by a Milwaukee resident when shooting by city hall, climbed the 3+ story giant staircase at looker's point, trudged through lake Michigan's algae infused beach... which is now the resting place for my lens cap. Stefanie and Shawn were such troopers and it was all worth it for these great shots! They are so in love and considerate of each other. They were such a joy to work with!!! And isn't she GORGEOUS, my gosh!! Enjoy!

Farrah and Drew: Wedding

From beginning to end their Wedding was flawless! Farrah exuded elegance and Drew was filled with joy. Through out the day I overheard intimate exchanges between the Bride and Groom of "I love you", and "You have made me so happy today." Their day was filled with lots of laughs, tears of joy and a surprise Honeymoon orchestrated by the groom for his bride. Surrounded by their massive 20+ part wedding party, family, friends and loved ones, they celebrated their incredible love and commitment into the evening.

I wanted to a whimsical "teen vogue" look for this shoot, It was a lot of fun. I absolutely LOVE how the streamers look as our backdrop! We ended up joking that we were celebrating Sally's "sweet sixteen".The party shots were followed by some dreamy ethereal shots. Hope you enjoy!!!

Stephanie & Marty Proposal!

I first met Stephanie and Marty during a couple's photo shoot for Marty's Birthday this past winter.They are an incredibly fun and warm couple and even then you could see how strong their love was for one another.

I was so honored when Marty contacted me to capture their marriage proposal. He decided to surprise Stephanie on her Birthday! She was pampered throughout the day, while thinking Marty was out of town. He had a limo pick her up from work, sent her to get her nails done, get a massage and change into her brand new dress he bought for her all before she would arrived at Lake Park Bistro to "meet friends for dinner". There she was greeted by a trail of balloons which led her to Marty on bended knee. He swept her off her feet and pulled off one amazing proposal! I'm so grateful they allowed me to be a part in capturing the beginning to there life together! Hope you enjoy these as much as I do!...Oh yeah, and if you couldn't already tell, she said YES! Congratulations Steph and Marty!

This shoot was a dream!It took a total of 2hrs to shoot (including hair and MU),Corinne is an amazing model!We had a lot of fun with the wardrobe and styling;trying to create a modern, clean,relaxed... almost a modern rock-a-billie aesthetic. And a huge Thanks to Rachel for the incredible hair and makeup! I was so excited by how these turned out I had to edit them right away! Hope you enjoy!

This E-session took place down by our studio in the Third Ward of
Milwaukee and we finished at the Oriental Theater.
It was so cold out, by the end of the shoot poor Farrah was shivering.
